6 Predictions for 2006

Because every other blogger is doing it and I’m a sheep.

1) Nothing will happen on Social Security Reform or ANWR.
2) Democrats will not retake Congress. I think while the Democrats have some opportunities in places like Pennsylvania, but those are balanced out by Republican opportunities in states like Maryland where Michael Steele will be elected the first Black Republican Senator since Edward Brooke.
3) Box Office Receipts will be down further next year.
4) Five of the blogs that will be the top 100 in the TTLB Ecosystem at this time next year do not currently exist.
5) Butch Otter will be elected Governor of Idaho.
6) Before the end of next year, they’ll be two vacancies on the Supreme Court and the Nuclear Option will have to be used to get Bush’s 3rd or 4th Court pick through.
