A Point for Drew Carey

I was non-plussed about Drew Carey’s taking the job on the Price is Right, but I’ve got to give him this. Bob Barker never told jokes about pork barrel politicians:

“I thought about it. You’re giving way prizes all day and making everybody happy. I really can’t complain. Honestly, my whole take on it has turned around now. Now I think you couldn’t do better. Here’s a car, here’s some money. And it’s not even your money. You’re giving away money and getting credit for it. I feel like a congressman. I’m like the junior Ted Stevens.”

It’s Drew Carey’s inner libertarian coming out and I love it, particularly when it comes to economics. (Hat Tip: Government Bytes)
