Podcast Show Notes

We start off with some political news including analyzing National Right to Life’s endorsement of Fred Thompson and Ron Paul’s latest fundraising effort which looks to be more successful than the last one.

Then we turn to Venezuela where citizens are getting a preview of Hugo Chavez’s socialist state as they struggle to find food while the county is going through “an oil boom.”

House Appropriations Chairman David Obey illustrates the corrupting power of earmarks.

Howard Dean declares Universalism a Democratic Party value. (Hat Tip: Reformed Chicks Babbling.) While PBS Television urges teachers to teach kids that religion and evolution are compatible. Thus we have secular leaders and organizations attempting to be theologians. (Hat Tip: Stop the ACLU.)
