A Trip to The Symphony

Posted by Adam Graham in : General

A guy from Sunday School class gave me some tickets to the Meridian Symphony’s Christmas concert. The drive in Meridian on Saturday night was something else. I came in on Eagle Rd. and it was moving so slow, the traffic was just nuts. The speed limit was 50 but there was no way anyone in their right mind would go 50 on that road.

So, we got there and it was a great night with a lot of Christmas songs. It was a beautiful and relaxing evening. It was quite a different experience than anything I’ve gone to before. It seemed so respectful and orderly, but it was Idaho, so we did things different. This was no black tie event for anyone other than the players. Jeans were fairly common, but I think I was the only guy in a kilt.

Afterwards, we drove to the Texas Roadhouse for a bite to eat. The food was good, the service was great. It was our first time there and the Manager came out to introduce us to the restaurant. The staff was so helpful. The service was top shelf. We didn’t have one of those experiences where we had to be constantly saying, “Waiter, our glasses are empty.” The waitress was so nice and so good John Kerry might have even tipped her a quarter. Don’t worry, I tipped more than that on the receipt. :) There food is all made from scratch, so the food was good. You could fill up on their bread. Anyway, I’ll definitely be back. Its worth the drive down to Meridian.

I’m not the only one my dear. Some blogs do nothing but talk about personal stuff.
