A Word About Rod Beck

Rod Beck has withdrawn from the race for Chairman and thrown his support behind Norm Semanko. I think it shows real character, class, and dedication. Rod Beck has had a special interest these past two years: making sure the voice of Grassroots conservatives are heard.

This has been about principles, not about personal ambition to be Chairman. Since the ’06 Convention, Beck has fought tirelessly for Idaho’s Grassroots Republicans against a leadership that seemed not to care. While some may not have always liked the way he did it, he has shown himself a man of action and determination. He has been our champion and I believe that victory will be achieved on the issue of closed primaries thanks to his dogged determination.
