A Great Moment in the Blogging Awards

Posted by Adam Graham in : Blogging

Last night, I was going through the different middle east blogs and came across Regime Change Iran. The blogger, Dr. Zin e-mailed the owner of Iraq the Model and said it was a shame that they were against each other in the awards because he really respected what Iraq the Model had done. He got this reply back:

“I want you to know that I’m a big fan of your blog and I check it almost everyday!

I’m also in support of freedom for the people of Iran who deserve real democracy and true liberty.

Honestly, if your blog wins the title I will be just as glad as if it were my blog…

“If you can send me the html code for the logo you have on the top of the left side bar of your blog, I’ll be more than glad to put it on my blog.”

Its a great moment for some simple reasons such as the fact that he’s adding a link to the competitor during the awards. The more remarkable story here is that in the ’80s Iraq and Iran were locked in a deadly war and now they’re helping each other out. A nice moment of class and grace by both bloggers.
