All the Stuff Fit to Read Midweek Open Trackbacks

Alright, my Bloglines marked posts have swelled to a huge number. There are some stories I just can’t get to, but you should know about. So, here’s the deal:

I’ll link to them and you send me the best of what you’ve got (with a requisite linkback of course):

• Club for Growth has some interesting facts on Mike Huckabee’s address to the NEA (one key one, he’s the first Republican to address that organization.)
• Jill Stanek brings us a Koster who apparently doesn’t know that Embryonic Stem Cell research has nothing to do with umbilical cord (i.e. adult stem cell research.)
• Joe Carter of Evangelical Outpost has a serious post on his need for sanctification (it’s one I definitely sympathize with.) and then a less serious Mea Culpa.
• George Grant shows us how the new French President is being accused of being unFrench for excercising.
• George Grant II explains that as Rome wasn’t built in a day, it also didn’t fall in a day either.
• George Grant hat trick: He explains the importance of Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God. I actually had an excerpt in my secular American Literature book. Of course, I know a few people who constantly harp on it.
• After a second member of the Bakersfield Arena Football team got busted for a crime against the citizens of Boise, I’d suggest attendees of the next game lock their cars and get out of the arena before the players do.
• Scammers are out pretending to race funds for a fallen Idaho State Trooper. For shame!
• Sad Commentary on our society: 11 year old girl charged with DUI
• Stupid Congressmen trips: Freshman Dem. Congressmen skips out on tour of New Orleans/Katrina areas and then holds hearing ironically titled “You don’t know what you don’t know.” You would if you’d taken the blasted tour when you were down there.
• Finally, a disturbing story on Bess Truman’s view of Jewish people.
