America’s Got Talent (But Less Than Britain Does)

Posted by Adam Graham in : Video Blogging

Tomorrow, America’s Got Talent airs its second episode of the season. Having been a big fan of the British series, I had high high hopes for America’s version. Sadly, the first episode was disappointing, particularly the trip to Seattle as it pretty much portrayed folks from the Northwest as somewhat twisted freaks. Someone from U of I went on and did a stomach turning act.

There were a couple highlights. Peter Peterkin as the Rock and Roll President was the best Obama impersonator I’ve ever seen:

There was also a wonderful group of Brother-Sister singers on called Voices of Glory that had an incredible story with a great talent.

Yet neither of these acts had the wow of the Britain’s Got Talent gang. Will Episode 2 be any better? We’ll see tomorrow.
