And the Rest Is In the Hands of God Midweek Open Trackbacks

Posted by Adam Graham in : Open Trackbacks

Well, we’ve done all that we can do on this little blog we’ve done everything we can to promote the candidates and issues we believe in. Now, it’s in the hands of voters and ultimately in the hands of God.

I’ll do my part today offline to Get Out the Vote, spending some time at the GOP call center and the Keep the Commandments office, but in the end, “Duty is ours, results are God’s.” And win or lose, He is worthy of all Honor, Glory, and Praise.

Now, onto the Party. First, the rules:

1) Post about anything that’s in good taste. No porn, no spam, no profanity.
2) Send me a trackback of any tasteful post you want and as soon as I check my blog, I’ll update this post with your link provided you link back to this thread. If your software won’t allow you to send trackbacks, just use the Wizbang Standalone Pinger

3) Deadline is Wednesday at 11:00 PM MDT. Further trackbacks won’t be posted after that time.

For your convenience here’s today’s here’s today’s link and the trackback:

The Florida Masochist:

Donald Rumsfeld out, Robert Gates in
Will Gates be an improvement? He was a career CIA officer who rose from the bottom to director. Gates also served on the NSC in the Carter administration. He also wrote a very dry book about his career . Those superficial clues would tend to say Gate…

The Florida Masochist:

The Knucklehead of the Day award
Today’s winner is Michael Young of Allentown Florida.

Tidbits and Treasures:

Did you vote today?
It looks like voter turnout was high today, in spite of the rain we had around here and in other parts of the United States. We voted around 6PM Central time, and our voting precinct was full, and, as we left, a long line was forming. Many workers ha…

Election Day Roundup: “That’s Gonna Leave a Mark”
I’m not doing much official “election blogging.” I have a good list of lame excuses (more on that later tonight) but suffice it to say it has nothing to do with lack of interest and much more to do with lack of time, resources and s…

Clash of Civilizations:

Planck’s Constant:

Iranian Holocaust Cartoon Contest a Flop
Iran’s competition for cartoons mocking the Holocaust drew a pitiful 204 entries from around the world and although Iranian newspapers announced the results of the competition they barely gave it any decent coverage. Not a single one even bothered to…

High Desert Wanderer:

Vote!

Go out and vote (Republican)! I won’t tell you who to vote for (Republican) but you need to go out today and vote (Republican). It’s the process (Republican) that’s important. Isn’t political freedom great! (Republican)
Voti…

The Florida Masochist:

Election blogging
Just like I did in Sepetember, I’ll be live blogging the election results today, with the emphasis on Florida races. This post will remain at the top of my blog all day.
