Because Big Round Numbers are Important to Paul Supporters

Posted by Adam Graham in : Presidential Race 2008

Trevor Lyman is off with his fourth money bomb. The goal is to $2.8 million and have a $20 million quarter for Ron Paul.  In reality, reaching the $20 million doesn’t require that much. Right now, all it would take is $1.527 million. Assuming a moderate fundraising pace of about $25,000 a day between December 21st and 30th, that would bring the amount needed down to $1.277 million which is doable. Of course, the issue is wheter Paul supporters will even be able to pony up? Some folks have even maxed their limits and trying to raise a million dollars plus right after Christmas on New Years Eve. Call me skepitcal on this one. I say they only raise $750k and Paul ends up with “only” $19.5 Million for the Quarter, $7.5 million over the campaign’s initial goal.

Don’t tell us we can’t do it. We don’t even know what that word means.
