Biden Finds Common Ground With Southerners

Posted by Adam Graham in : Politics

It’s early, but the most entertaining candidate of the 2008 Presidential Campaign appears to be Joe Biden:

“You don’t know my state,” he said. “My state was a slave state.”

Yes, I can imagine his rallies in South Carolina. “Like your state, my state held slaves.” Given the efforts to build a New South, this may not be something that they want candidates to bring up, but I expect Joe to do it. The man seems totally devoid of tact.

You know, Adam…this, combined with behavior we’ve seen from other Dems in the past six months, might be an early indication of Biden’s election platform: “Support Clinton in ‘08 – she understands our plantation…”

Not necessarily the most flattering approach to the South either.
