The Bigger Tea Party

Alan at Idablue gloats.about it. The next generation will appreciate today’s Democrats’ support of $1.75 trillion deficit. My criticism of the Bush Administration for overspending has been consistent. Others forget about fiscal responsibility when the administration changes power.
Of course, what the Statesman missed was a bigger tea party rally near Julia Davis Park. My wife counted 27 folks there. Still not a whole lot, but this point was made in the comments:
Had the rally been reasonably publicized at least 48 hours in advance, it would have been attended by several hundreds if not thousands more. See you next time.
True enough. Better organization and publicity will produce better results.

We plan another tea party next Sat. Mar. 7 at noon . At the triangle near Julia Davis park. All of you who are against the porkulus, and earmark-laden stimulus bill need to take time to show up next week. We the people need to take back our country and restore the constitution!

This is only the beginning of restoring the country back to the people, who are willing to work for it, demonstrate for it and love it. This is the ground swell of discontent that is saying we the people have had enough of ONIK, ONIK politics. Each week, if not everyday, people must go out, display their signs and demonstrate that this disceit by the elected officials will not be tolerated anymore.
Briefly look at how we got here: They started with kiling our babies, in 1973. Over all, we let it happened. Then they had us pay with our tax money to Planned Parenthood to have the babies slaughtered. No big outcry yet. We slowly found out the the population is getting smaller, schools are closing, social security is going broke, not enough to support it in the future, HoHum. Now those forces stole their way into elected official positions; our government. Now they are going to bankrupt the country and take us into a major depression. THEY say go back to sleep, you are only dreaming. We are too big to fail. Have we had enough?
If so, get your sign, get some friends together, and hit the sidewalk. Now is the time.

Time for Mar. 7 is 2-4 pm..It is a start to acquaint citizens with the fact that they aren’t alone and with groups that can make a difference . There is clout in numbers!!
