Cheers and Boos: Week 4

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

Cheers: Rep. Russ Mathews (R-33) introduces a Joint Memorial urging Congress to back off on anti-gun legislation. (Hat Tip: Free in Idaho.)

Cheers: Rep. Marv Hagedorn (R-20) introduces a bill to limit the ability of local governments to call elections whenever they’re of a mind to. Democracy is a joke if elections at the whim

Boos to the 19 members of the Idaho State who voted to increase the incentive for stores to sell the winning tickets to 2%, in effect giving stores increased incentive to encourage more government sponored gambling for desperate patrons in the midst of a recession. Exploitation? I think so, let’s put that the Idaho Conservative scorecard. Click here to see how your Senate voted.

    Adam,

Rep Lake and Sen Bair are running the election consolidation bill this morning and I’ve introduced HJM003 (support of the 2nd Amendment) where Rep Mathews is a co-sponsor. We also have a 10th Amendment bill soon to be printed as well with many co-sponsors.

You will find that this year, due to some software “upgrades”, we’ve had some issues printing bills with the usual number of co-sponsors. Where the bill “contacts” would normally work to get many co-sponsors to sign on to the bills, now due to this software glitch, it’s much harder to get names on the bills.

    Thanks for what you do!

    Cheers,
    Marv
