Clarification on the Idaho Conservative Blogger

It seems some folks are getting confused because a site I run has a similar name to a new blog that was set up.

First of all, welcome to the Idaho Conservative Blogger. We need a lot more conservatives blogging and it’s great to see another enter. In addition, Idaho Conservative Blogger has been able to get to some events I wasn’t able to attend. However, there’s still some confusion.

To be honest, the whole situation reminds me an old Freakazoid Cartoon, Lord Bravery:

For the past three years, I’ve completed the Idaho Conservative Scorecard. The results of which are posted here at idahoconservative.us and are known as the Idaho Conservative scorecard.

The Idaho Conservative Blogger set up shop at IdahoConservativeblogger.com and today someone told me they thought some of ICB’s posts on the Vaughn Ward race were mine. Other than linking to one of my articles, ICB and I don’t have an affiliation. Their fine work is all their own.

So to clarify:

I am a conservative blogger writing about politics in Idaho, and I do the Idaho Conservative scorecard. However, I’m not the Idaho Conservative Blogger.

The Idaho Conservative Blogger also blogs about politics in Idaho, but has no tie to the Idaho Conservative scorecard. Hope that clarifies things.
