Truth and Hope Report Show Notes

(Item Discussed on Tonight’s Podcast)

Don Surber calls for the expulsion of Alaska’s GOP congressional delegation for numerous ethical lapses, and he’s right and let’s not forget the rest of the under investigation crowd (Hat Tip: Volokh Conspiracy).

I’m tired of corruption and I’m tired of my party being dragged down by corrupt actors like Ted Stevens (R-AK) and Don Young (R-AK). Those who want to hold onto these old dudes in order to “win” should remember how well that worked for Montana Republicans with Conrad Burns. Thanks to them, we now have Jon Tester and a Democrat Majority. BTW, did I mention that Young is going to get a serious Democrat challenger if he doesn’t get a serious GOP challenge first.

Meanwhile, we turn our focus to the 600,000 acre blaze and how poor timber and land management practices made it happen.

Then we take a look at a primary plan proposed by a bi-partisan group of Senators to overhaul our Presidential Primary system. It’s not the best available, but it sure beats what we have. It’ll have a hard time getting through due to the fact that the current system has created the new kingmakers. (Hat Tip: Right Mind)

Then we take a look at how of America’s two Sattelite Giants, Direct TV and Dish Network have given parents greater power over their kids’ television viewing. Will parents who are concerned about TV content take advantage?
