Clinton Links to the Port Deal

Posted by Adam Graham in : Politics

Interesting stuff at TMH Bacon Bits and Stuck on Stupid about Bill Clinton’s involvement in the Dubai Port issue. Here’s a sample from TMH

The chief operating officer of Dubai Ports World says Bill Clinton called a member of the Dubai royal family to convince the emirate to hire his former press secretary Joe Lockhart as its Washington spokesman to help push through the port deal. Ted Bilkey told the House committee investigating the deal that the recommendation was passed down to DP World from the government, but was ultimately rejected.

This is another loser for the Clinton fans. In addition to the connection you point out, Bill Clinton signed off on the deals which allowed a Chinese corporation to take over the shipping facilities which have the potential to have far more profound and dangerous implications for the US security. China now hold what amounts to a beach head at each end of the Panama canal thanks to Clinton.

If that were not enough China operates several facilities in the US including the largest on the West coast located in Long Beach, Ca.

Hillary will have a hard time getting out of that one. Remember how helpful the Chinese were to the Clinton campaigns? They had good reason.
