Club for Growth Celebrates Pyhrric Victory
Posted by Adam Graham in : Side BlogThe Club for Growth is practically gloating about Mike Huckabee blaming their $750,000 ad campaign for his South Carolina loss. Fundamentally,I don’t see a whole lot to celebrate. Not electing Mike Huckabee doesn’t forward the causes the Club cares about if there’s not someone who is elected. The Club for Growth is in fact taking pride in helping John McCain win, though I suspect he won’t have their support in the Fall.
To spend $750k and be no closer to achieving your goals isn’t something to celebrate.
