A Curious Sign

Ada County Commissioner Sharon Ullman has a blog post up that’s quite fascinating. Going off a recent news story on the transportation commission, Ullman vociferously disagrees with Governor Otter on GARVEE and the efforts to increase taxes. The timing is curious as the controversy is mostly past (though probably future as well if Otter gets re-elected) and it seems like a late comment.

I’ve speculated that Sharon Ullman might be a candidate for Governor, and those who are keeping an eye on 2010 should take note. Of course, I should give voice to a less exciting possibility. Ullman may not have had time to talk about the issue when the legislature was in session and is taking the opportunity of news story to write something she hadn’t had time to get to.
