Dedication

There was a great story out of Tampa about a pizza delivery driver who kept delivering his pizzas despite having been shot. From the story:

Thomas Stefanelli, 37, said dedication to his job at Hungry Howie’s Pizza kept him on the job after a struggle with a robber Saturday night left him bleeding from a bullet hole in his left thigh.

Its amazing dedication that I don’t think most of us know much about. I hope some other employer will see this and given Mr. Stefanelli an opportunity elsewhere. It reminds me of a quote by Martin Luther King.

If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say ‘Here lived a great Streetsweeper who did his job well’.

So, in that spirit, here is a great pizza man.
