Democrats Demand Purity
Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, TheEmboldened Democratic bloggers are questioning the purity of their own. Binky Boy calls Walt Minnick’s plan, “irresponsible and neglectful” and thinks that $174 billion is “paltry.” (remember we’re in bizarro land where that’s not a whole lot of money.)
Tara Rowe notes the annoyance of many progressive bloggers (in Bizarro World, Progressives favor spending large sums of money with little reason or why) as well as my own positive statement on Rep. Durst’s Community Partnership bill. Tara then asks this question:
Can’t possibly be that both politicians are masquerading in Democratic clothing while touting Republican ideals, can it?
Bravo! We’ve identified the problem, neither Durst nor Minnick are liberal enough, and it’s far past time for the Idaho liberal wing to assert itself and demand they rectify their ways.
Never mind that I’ve criticicized Durst’s actions or word three times in this early session, if there’s even one positive word about what a Democrat does on this blog, it’s time to kick him out.
Leftward, ever leftward must be the rallying cry of Idaho Democrats.
Thus, we see why the part of moderates Dick Stallings and Cecil Andrus that was once competitive in this state has become somewhat of a bad joke.

Trust me… for every “progressive” whose support Walt “loses” for being socially moderate and economically conservative (just like he said he would be), he’ll gain or retain the votes of 10 moderates. Anytime Binky Boy doesn’t like what Walt is doing, I’d say Walt is on the right track. (Plus, I really, really doubt that you’d get any leading Democrat to anoint Binky Boy as the “voice” of the Democratic Party here in Idaho.)

It’s Richard, not Dick and I don’t speak for the party or anyone really but myself!

So, if I understand correctly, Tara, your opinion is totally out of whach and it doesn’t match anyone else in the State of Idaho. I tend to disagre. I tend to think you speak for a lot of people.
