Don’t Rush the Rockies Weekend Open Trackbacks
Posted by Adam Graham in : Open TrackbacksWell, my Rockies are now up 2-0 in their division series over the Phillies and will have a chance to close out the series on Saturday night which already has people talking about the next series and how the Rockies could go to the World Series.
It’s been great, but let’s not talk about winning the pennant until the Rockies have won the Division Series. (I’m a little superstitious, but if the closest your team came to a World Title was winning Game 3 of the 1995 NLDS, you would be too.) And let’s member it’s wonderful and amazing that there. Yes, these Colorado Rockies remind me quite a bit of the 2002 Angels that won the World Series, but let’s take it one series at a time, one game at a time (that’s what Clint Hurdle and the boys are doing anyway.)
But that being said, “Go Rockies!” Let’s get out the Purple broom and sweep the Phillies out of the playoffs.
