Final Thoughts for the Day
Posted by Adam Graham in : GeneralIt is so good to be back on b2evolution. I much prefer that to Blogger’s editor. That is such a nightmare let me tell you. You know those annoying boxes that you have to type in to enter a comment on Blogger? Well in Blogger despite the fact you’ve signed in with your user name and password, you have to go and do letter verification on every post as the owner of the Blog. It gets really tiresome. The Dumbest thing about it is that you can turn off the Word Verification for comments but not for posting. Oy Vey! I’m glad I have it though, as a back-up if nothing else.
Well, that’s all for tonight. I’m going to do a couple quick administrative things, but I’ll probably be off for the night. I’m tired and have had a week very low on sleep.
So, I’ll be back tomorrow night with:
1) More on the Weblog Awards
2) The Final Response to Russ
3) 2 Frustrating Experiences.
By the way, I’ve been contacted by Greg Hahn, a Reporter for the Idaho Statesman. So, we make the loocal media.
So, see you all tomorrow night.

Here is an article about the kilt-wearing teen who was barred from a high school prom in Minnesota. (Boy, does this infuriate me! Shall we bombard these idiots with e-mails?) WDP

I wonder if the ACLU will get involved. Bet they would if she were muslim and wearing a scarf

I don’t have letter verification on my posts in blogger, but my time stamp has disappeared. Go figure. I can’t edit timestamps anymore on my own blog.

Michael, good catch, though a tad old. This one was from May. There’s a more recent one that’s the matter of some controversey. I may discuss it tonight.
Kender, blogger is messed up in general. How some people manage to have decent blogs with it, I don’t know. B2evolution, Word Press, or Movable Type all seem to produce much better blogs.

I’ve run my awesome-looking blog through Blogger, but only through the dint of my hard work and PHP programming expertise… and still it sucks (Blogger, not my blog). Moving to Movable Type starting Jan 1.
What happened with Kilt-Boy? I hope he won his case. This lefty card-carrying member of the ACLU would support him just as much as the hypothetical Muslim in the headscarf. I hate it when schools try to dress their kids (unless it’s a school uniform that everyone wears, supplied by the school.)

Oh, and the word verification thing in Blogger is to foil blogspam bots. And don’t we agree that blogspam is a bad thing?
