Fire Him Now

From Tampa Bay News Channel 10, we have this story:

Brian J. Doyle, DOB 4/7/50, the Deputy Press Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., was arrested this evening at his residence in Silver Springs, Maryland, on 23 Polk County charges related to the use of a computer to seduce a child and transmitting harmful materials to a minor. Doyle’s arrest is the result of a joint investigation by the Polk County Sheriff s Office, working with Florida’s 10th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Jerry Hill s office, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Inspector General s Office.

The reaction should be simple: Lock ‘em up and throw away the key and by the way Mr. President, don’t let him resign. Fire him now! Do it before breakfast. It doesn’t require much more explanation. This is a situation as Radio Host Glenn Beck has observed, the issue is not one of right and left, but right and wrong.

Now, our friends on the left are trying to make some broad case on this about the administration. I read some of this stuff:

Here’s the way the American left work. They stop talking about what’s bothering them, because they get to the point where no one cares anymore. Than the next time they get upset, it goes back to the same issue. Liberals don’t stop being mad, they just take sleeping breaks.

However, what you have to say is that the Polk County authorities did a bang up job and they got a high level pervert. Congratulations to them on the collar. The sad thing is that there are hundreds of thousands of more just like him out there and catching them all is going to be tough, but the future of America’s children depends on it.
