Fred and Ron’s Fundraising Days

Posted by Adam Graham in : Open Trackbacks

Ron Paul’s supporters proved money could be raised on the Internet, and Fred Thompson’s supporters have gotten the idea. Supporters of both candidates are gearing up for huge money bombs.

November 21st is Fred’s Giving Day where supporters of the former Tennessee Senator will donate to his campaign the day before Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, Ron Paul supporters are planning a fundraiser in conjunction with the 204th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (December 16th) with a goal of raising $10 million.

Now, whether you support these particular candidates or not, I think what’s happening here is wonderful. For too long, we, the American people, have believed that, as we don’t have millions of dollars to contribute, we have no say in the political process, but small contributors in large enough numbers can make a big difference.

If you don’t like either Ron or Fred, or you have other candidates you’d like to support, remember that you can visit Slatecard.com and set up your own slate of candidates to give money to or you can donate to the candidates on my slatecard by contributing as little as $10 to strong conservative candidates. Remember the lesson of the money bombs. We can make a difference, if only we’re willing to make an effort.

Now onto the trackback party. First, the rules:
