Glad to Be Sick in America

I won’t have much to blog on the next few days (and very little chance of podcasting) because I’m fighting off a nasty bit of pneumonia.

The only bright side is that if I have to be sick, I’d so much rather be sick in the US than these other countries. I thought about this while being tempted to complain that it took nearly 2 hours for them to get me in and out of Urgent Care. In Canada, the wait time for help is a lot longer-on the space of two days in many places. If I lived in Montreal, I’d still be waiting for a doctor right now instead of being at home with a supply of anti-biotics.

Anyway, I’ll try and write a column tomorrow (we’ll see how I’m feeling). Anyway, enjoy the trackback thread below.
