Good News, Bad News

Andy Harris, a candidate for U.S. House endorsed by the Club for Growth and Dr. James Dobson ousted Liberal Republican Wayne Gilchrist. Also losing was Democratic Congressman Al Wynn. For 2 Congressmen to lose primaries for re-election is telling and tends to indicate an anti-incumbent mood, which is bad news for Republican Presidential prospects, but good news for Republicans in the House (as Democrats simply have more incumbents.) In the Senate, the Dems could open up a lead on the GOP due to the high number of Republican incumbents up this year.
