Good One, Mr. President

Regarding the partial socialization of banks, President Bush says, “The government’s role will be limited and temporary.”

Milton Friedman once observed, “Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program.”

I fear that Dr. Friedman will be shown correct in this case.
