Home Run: M.O.

Michelle Obama’s speech tonight at the Democratic Convention was a home run. Some prtisans will deny it and cite things that activists know that your average American doesn’t (like how much Michelle is paid for her “public service work.”)

The speech ws step one in image rehab to move the Obamas out of the radical box and into the mainstream.  McCain’s celebrity and messiah inferences have had an effect as Obama tries for a somewhat more “regular guy” image. Bottom line: McCain and Republicans need to counter with a strong vision for America, or we may look back at this convention and note that it was the time Obama took the lead and never looked back.
