How to Become a Democratic Party Hero
Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, TheThere are many ways to become a hero: as a first responder savings lives, a doctor who saves someone’s life, or a good samaritan. Other times, to the right person, you can become a hero by standing on the floor of the US House of Representatives and declaring that our purpose in spending money on Iraq to blow up innocent people and that our soldier’s are dying for our President’s amusement:

According to the Political Game (one of Idaho’s most prominent blogs), this is our hero of the day, Congressman Pete Stark (Democrat-California). Perhaps, his heroism is only magnified by the fact that he had the courage to say this despite representing a district that only gave Kerry 71% of the vote. Of course, in prior generations, Stark would have been rightly castigated as a traitor who gave aide to our nation’s enemies through irresponsible rhetoric from the floor of the House. But, in the eyes of the liberal blogosphere, he’s the greatest hero of this day.

I think the statements were out of line, and wrong. As a former “liberal” turned libertarian.. who supports Ron Paul… I understand why liberals are proud of the moment. It isn’t because he took a cheap shot at the President (he did). The reason this thrills the left is because it finally releases a lot of the frustration that Democrats have been feeling during Bush’s years in office. For so many years, they’ve been cast aside, treated like outcasts for dissenting on war. They are told they are something less than American because they have different points of views, and the anger inside is building. It’s like when you abuse a child, a woman, or anyone for that matter.. eventually the grip around the Democrat’s neck will break and the glass will shatter. Well, the glass -has- shattered and our politicians are bleeding. This desire to further admonish him is entirely political, it’s a need to smear publicly for votes that has propelled conservatives in the past. It backfired in 2006 and it’ll backfire tenfold in 2008.

You see, this is what I’m talking about. This sentence is incomprehensible:
“There are many ways to become a hero as a first responder savings lives, a doctor who saves someone’s life, or a good samaritan.”
Did you mean that I can become a hero, while a first responder’s cash reserves become animated? I don’t mean to be flippant, It just makes no sense.
Maybe you meant:
“There are many ways to become a hero: as a first responder saving lives, a doctor who saves someone’s life, or a good Samaritan.”

Wow, the Democrats as abused children. Never quite looked at it that way. Um, yeah. The problem is that the Democrats are becoming unhinged and with people like Stark, it’ll be clear, these people are far too dangerous to lead our country.
