How to Win Our Hearts and Minds

43rd State Blues has their advice to Democrats on how to win campaigns (because Idaho Liberals kniow a lot about that):

Please drop the “voice of reason” tactic from your campaigns. There is a time to be polite, and there is a time to start the conversation with, “You S—o—-B—h!” For our candidates this has got to happen soon.

You know they ought to take this advice literally. During the first gubenatorial debate, Jerry Brady ought to walk out and say, “You dirty *bleep*.” By gosh, that’s how you win hearts and minds. We like our leaders mad as heck. That’s what we look for. If you are a Democrat and you walk out on stage in a debate and your opponent doesn’t feel the need to carry a weapon to protect himself from you, you are not angry enough.

There are ways to help alleviate this, though I find what works best and creates the most anger is injecting yourself with rabies, then you get that whole frothing at the mouth thing going. You should be aware that most liberals will not consider you angry enough, unless you try and bite him. Then you’ll be angry enough. You might have a whole embarassing thing in the paper where animal control has to hunt you down, and you shoot you with a dart, but at least no one on 43rd State Blues will question your manhood.
