I’m a Theocon Weekend OpenTrackbacks

Julie Fanselow at Red State Rebels has added the label “Theocon.” Well, I’ll admit it’s true, I won’t hide any longer. I am a Theocon. However, I do need to let you know the media definiton of this term is incorrect.

Truth is we Theocons don’t favor a theocracy, we’re just conservatives who like Theo Huxtable from the Cosby Show:

We value the contribution of regular people to our society. While in his monopoly game lecture, Dr. Huxtable illustrated how regular people often end up with nothing at the end of the month, the same can be said of many professionals. Poor spending habit create more poverty than lack of income.

Just like Theo, we have learned that real life is hard and challenging. It’s not just getting what you want. There are bills to pay, but if you work hard you can get ahead in life.

We love our families even though they can sometimes be a trial. Ours has never put us on trial the way Theo’s did, but then again we had no lawyers in our family.

Challenges are to be overcome. A key example of this is Theo’s dyslexia. It’s easy to blame others, much harder to fight through difficulties and come out on top.

Our chief political guru is not Karl Rove, but Cockroach.

Like Theo, we’re still learning about life, but through our learning and stumbles we grow.

Now, I did run into Bryan Fischer last night, but didn’t find out if he really was a Theocon or more of a Heathocon. But, yes, I’m definitely a Theocon.

Now, onto the Party. First, the rules:
