Idaho Senators Split on Common Sense

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

Common sense tells us we have to get control over the flow of illegals before examining any other issue. We also know that its the only issue we have a hope of resolving with so many different views on guest workers, the only way you’re going to have a bi-partisan successful bill is if we’re talking about enforcement. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) had an Amendment that would implement this policy.

Idaho’s two Senators split on the issue. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Id.) voted right, Larry Craig (R-Id.) voted wrong. You have no idea how embarassed I was to see one of my Senators on the list of those votig no. I let both Senators know what I thought. I would urge everyone to see how your Senators voted and contact them with appropriate praise or criticism, depending on how they voted.

Those who are standing for immigration reform need a lot of support because there’s quite a bit of pressure to get a bill done, no matter how damaging it is to America and those who stick to their guns deserve support and encouragement.
