Idaho’s Climate Problem
Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, TheIt’s not a problem with the weather, but rather the business climate, according to the National Tax Foundation. Right Mind sums up the depressing results:
- Wyoming is the most business friendly state in the nation.
- Idaho is rated #31 in the nation. Idaho was rated #26 in 2007 and #25 in 2006. Note: this is what a progressive calls progress.
- The only thing positive for Idaho was the property tax rate: #2 in the nation. Of course, living in Moscow city limits negates all of those savings…
- The top five states have no state income tax.
- Seven of the top 10 states have no state income tax.
- The worst-performing states all have income taxes with steeply “progressive” rates.
Idaho has been blessed due it’s location and the beauty of its land, but it could do much, much, much better if we had legislators and a governor who governed like actual conservatives, rather than people who think that citizens that pay a 6% Sales Tax and a high income tax that traps the middle class in higher brackets are ready to be socked again with another tax increase.
