Image Problem

Several Mormon Missionaries aren’t the first folks to go to far trying to shake a non-fun loving  reputation and they aren’t the first to take their efforts too far, still this is an amazing overreach:

The men say they put it together to get rid of stereotypes people have about Mormons, as well as have some fun.

Yeah, but most people manage to have fun without making a racy calendar. The stereotype of, “Mormons don’t make calendars with their shirts off.” is one that anyone’s looking to kill. The sad thing is that I’ve know some Mormons in Idaho who are quite fun to be around and believe it or not, they had their shirts on. Folks are folks. What a pity it is that some think a stunt like this is necessary.

I do tip my cap to the citizens of  Rexburg for a reasonable reaction to this fiasco.
