Imagine a Presidential Candidate
Posted by Adam Graham in : PodcastImagine a Presidential Candidate who will tell you the truth, not in some fake polished attempt at “Straight Talk” but the honest, politically incorrect truth. He’d be no jerk, but he’d pick no bones about it. Imagine a candidate who tells you:
“Amnesty solves nothing. Yes, Ron Paul, American policy explains why some people hate us, but that’s no reason for America to stop being who she is and to retreat from the world. Campaign spending limits are a joke that only enable special interests. We need to cut government, and by the way here are some programs we can start with.”
Imagine a candidate who hadn’t spent his life planning a run for President. He hasn’t purloined earmarks for constituents or raised taxes. He believes in things like America. He believes we need to take back our country and party from big government Republicans. He’s ready to fight, alone if necessary because he believes in the ideals most other candidates don’t take seriously outside of Lincoln Day Dinners and Speeches to the Christian Coalition?
If you’re tired of career politicians, than take a look at John Cox. He appeared as my guest on a special edition of the Truth and Hope Report. Listen below and you’ll hear a great interview where he talks about the War, the Fair Tax, Trade, and much more. John Cox was my guest on the Truth and Hope Report.
Yes, I support him, yes, I even blog for him, but it’s because of his principles that I’m behind this campaign all the way.

Here’s a good blurb from Ron Paul describing his view on how American Foreign policy should be conducted:
Too often we give foreign aid and intervene on behalf of governments that are despised. Then, we become despised. Too often we have supported those who turn on us, like the Kosovars who aid Islamic terrorists, or the Afghan jihads themselves, and their friend Osama bin Laden. We armed and trained them, and now we’re paying the price.
At the same time, we must not isolate ourselves. The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations.

This quote is useful because it makes clear that Ron Paul is a non-interventionist which does not equate to pacifism or isolationism, labels that are often used as a smear.

But does it make it any less true that his supporters are getting a bad reputation for incessant spam for unrelated (or in this case barely related) posts?
