Is it a Democratic Party Poster?

The above image has appeared on numerous websites. Its a picture of a flier found at an illegal immigrant protest urging people to get out and vote for the Democratic Party. My first reaction to this thing when I saw it was that this was outrageous and I still think it is.

However, when I was about ready to post about this on WhereIStand, I noticed something. There’s no indication on here that this is from the Democratic Party. The flier urges people to vote Democratic in the November elections, that’s true, but there’s no required disclosure at the bottom saying, “Paid for by the California Democratic Party” or something of that sort. Who was handing these out? Who wrote them?

I did some searching from the Conservative Outpost to Expose the Left, to Michelle Malkin and Wizbang to this Photo Album on Flickr.

On no site is the actual image of Who Paid for this shown. Looking at the quality of the flyer, it could have done by anyone with a decent printer. I’ve seen Sunday School literature formatted that well.

There are things we need to know such as the issues I’ve mentioned previously. Someone wants the illegals to vote Democratic, but who is it? Do they have ties to some Dem. political group? How many of these fliers were distributed? Is this one of fifty that someone ran off their printer or is this a printing of tens of thousands ordered by the Democratic Party in Sacramento? More information is needed, because context is vital in a story like this.
