It’s Only Been One Week Since the Election

Ther have been a lot posts in the blogosphere demanding reactions:

“Don’t talk about 2012.”

“We’ve got to get organized now and start planning for 2010.”

The one element that seems to be missing is time. Some folks are ready right now to battle 2012. Some folks don’t want even want to talk politics. Some people want to think about 2012 right now. Whether some people like it or not, the topic is somewhat fun and relaxing.

Some people are impatient that we aren’t united or that we don’t have an effective strategy. It’s only been one stinking week, give it a rest.

Let people do what they want to do. Let ‘em write about 2012 (like you can stop them.) Let ‘em enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas. Give people time and take some time to pray for our nation and our President-elect and then we’ll be ready for 2009.
