Podcast Show Notes

John McCain has been contradicted on a part of the New York Times Story by not only the person he said he didn’t meet with, but his own deposition. While, the story has no legs, this is the first of many attempts to undercut the media image of McCain as an honest reformer who is not part of the Washington insider’s game.

Meanwhile, Congressman Rick Renzi (R-AZ) has been indicted. He allegedly used embezzled money to win his first term in the House.  Minority Leader Boehner says Reniz should consider resigning. Meanwhile, this is another embarassment for McCain as Renzi served as a McCain co-chair and McCain did a robocall for Renzi praising his “integrity beyond reproach.”

Meanwhile on the Democratic side, we take a look at Barack Obama’s terrorist buddies: member of the Weather Underground who planted bombs intended to kill U.S. Solders and have no regrets about it. (Hat Tip: Right Wing News.)

Then we take a look at the worst polls of 2008 and wonder why they take up so much news coverage given how drastically wrong they’ve been.

Also, the angry names liberal bloggers call themselves.

Meanwhile Toledo’s anti-Marine Mayor drops the F-bomb on the radio and is set to cost the city a vote on a .75% payroll tax, and yesterday one city employee showed what he thought of the Mayor. (Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin.)

Maryland decides to set a goal of 90% less carbon emissions by 2050, but have no idea how they’ll achieve it and are hoping someone invents magic technology to make it happen. Sounds typical of government.  (Hat Tip: Hot Air.)

Meanwhile, the U.S. Falls behind the world as Taiwan and Iceland cut their corporate tax rates while the US remains stuck on 39% and wonders why businesses are leaving America. (Hat Tip: Club for Growth.)

Political Correctness strikes a popular corporate mascot in the Netherlands. (Hat Tip: The Corner.)

And beware of death threat Elmo. (Hat Tip: Wizbang!)

    Trust Me…

Trust what He has said in the Scriptures, but also to submit wholey to Him. When I ask God to fix something or someone through prayer, I must wholely trust that the right answer will be God’s decision. Even if I don’t understand it ……
