Kyle Makes a Good Trade

Posted by Adam Graham in : Blogging

Well, Kyle McDonald pulled off a good trade in his quest to trade one red paper clip for a house. Kyle’s trading fortunes had plummeted as he’d traded one year’s free rent in Phoenix for an afternoon with Rock legend Alice Cooper and then the afternoon with Cooper for a snow globe. Corben Bernsen stepped in and traded that a role in his movie for the KISS Snow Globe, thus proving Kyle’s premise that everything’s valuable to someone.

Now Kyle has got some offers for this role. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just plain silly. As always, the highlights:

Hi! – Yes, I would like to be in your movie. I would like to trade a movie role for a kiss! That’s it! Sincerely, Anna Maganini

Apparently, she thinks she’s going to get a good deal because he traded a house for a KISS snow globe. However, I don’t think that will happen again. Nice try, though.

Hey I am Mike Farrell and I am willing to trade a year’s worth of competition in gaming like any tv game show or board game or video game with the winner at any time they woudl like and as long as they would like for this role. I just graduated high school and I am trying to make my way to become an actor and I just got my headshots done today. It’s what I live for. Thanks for the opportunity. If you don’t understand my trade it is simple- I will basically be someone’s gaming partner or opponenet or competitor for a year in any game they choose at any time.

So you’ll play any video game or board game. Might be nice to know where you live and how you’d manage this long distance. But some really desperate lonely people might trade a house or something bigger for that.

Hi Kyle. I offer for trade a herd of eight, absolutely gorgeous cattle. My girls come running when they’re called and can be scratched and petted. Some are already in calf to the handsome young bull next door : ))) They are awesome mothers too. I would love the fun of acting in a movie and the trip would be a bonus too! And besides, I thought it was time Australia got in on this : )))) The cattle are at Toowoomba Qld, inland by 90 mins or so from Brisbane. The cows are excellent foster mums, very gentle and good natured. There’s a couple of heifers in calf (I hope) and a couple of calves, and the three foster mums are due to go into calf again now.

Now, if this were the 18th Century, I’d say that would be a fair trade. Nowadays I don’t know, but somehow I just don’t think cows are going to be a step towards a house. Maybe somebody would trade cattle trailers for the cows. That way you’d have something to put the cattle in…but then you’d have no cattle. It’d be a whole sad “Gift of the Magi” thing.

I honestly don’t see any good trades in here, but something could be going on offline with Kyle. You never know. Regardless I’ll keep you posted.
