Liberal Bible Blooper

An Indiana Church is running a series of billboards trying to allege Biblical support for homosexuality. I responded to the billboards on my podcast. While going through the podcast, I noticed this interesting quote:

Notice, the sign references 2 Samuel 2:26 which says:

“Then Abner called to Joab and said, “Shall the sword devour for ever? Knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people to return from following their brethren?”

They meant 1:26. Putting up a big series of billboards with the wrong verse on them. Ugh! How embarrassing. Of course, neither verse indicates homosexuality like they implied.
