Live Blogging the 2nd Presidential Debate

I’ll be live blogging the McCain-Obama debate. However, rather than trying to update this post, you can view my latest debate thoughts on my Twitter, shown above.

UPDATE

Okay, watched the debate and once again, it was tightly played. I think McCain was far more comfortable and more likely to get physically close to the person he was answering and call them by name.

Obama was more aloof most of the time.  I think it’s easy to get lost in a dizzying back and forth. These debates are not for informed voters, and I’m not sure what exactly they’re supposed to illuminate. I don’t know how the casual voter who is tuning in right now is supposed ot untangle the tangled lines of these two candidates and make any sense of it.
