Podcast Show Notes

David Oatney and I have a long chat about the Presidential race including the continuing campaign of Mike Huckabee.

Also, we talk about the campaign of California Conservative icon Tom McClintock who joins a fabulous group of quality conservative 2006 Congressional candidates.

The Democratic Congress eliminates tax breaks for U.S. Oil companies but gives them to Venezuelan strong man Hugo Chavez. (Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin.)

Meanwhile Michelle Obama gives her, “Mama don’t let your boys grow up to be hedge fund managers” speech in a county in Ohio with below average college enrollment and per capita income.

A teacher’s union shows its caring for children by refusing to do afterschool tutoring or write college reccomendation letters in order to pressure Rhode Island to pay them more money. (Hat Tip: Sam Adams Alliance.)

At the same time, Rhode Island diverts funds from it’s 9-1-1 budget to cover the general fund leading to people’s emergencies being put on hold.

Finally, a reminder of what damage Bill Clinton’s lack of ethics did. It cost the nation a chance at real Social Security Reform.
