McCain: I Hope Castro Dies In His Sleep of Old Age

Some people were impressed by John McCain wishing that Fidel Castro got a meeting with Karl Marx (in the fires of Hell, I assume.) I thought the quote was tough until I thought about it.

At this point, McCain is wishing that an Old Dictator whose dying anyway dies in his sleep. This isn’t a threat to go after Saddam Hussein and “get him”, this is more like letting nature take its course after our government made unsuccessful attempts to do so. It was supposed to be tough, but I just don’t see it.

Also, interesting notes on McCain’s Blogger Conference Call at John Hawkins place.. Some good answers, but also of note, the author of McCain-Feingold isn’t “an expert” on Campaign Finance law. Say what?
