Medical Explanations
Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, TheSenator John McGee’s lawyer is hinting that there may be a medical explanation for McGee’s actions:
“I think there are medical explanations … that may very well exist in this case that will negate any criminal liability,” his attorney, Scott McKay, said.
I’d be interested to hear what the explanation is. I could see how something medical might negate the grand theft charge. Really not sure how it could work with the DUI Charge. After all, most drunk drivers don’t intend to drive drunk. They just don’t know how drunk they are. As McGee had enough alcohol to get superdrunk, it seems to me he has to have some culpability despite any unfortunate medical issues.
