Minnick Votes to Subsidize Abortion in Obamacare

Last night before passing the Obamacare bill, a bi-partisan majority including 176  Republicans and 64 Democrats voted to bar the use of federals funds in the Obamacare bill to subsidize abortion.

Idahoans would be interested noted that Congressman Walt Minnick (D-ID) voted against this amendment, which had the effect of incorporating the Hyde Amendment into the Health Care bill.  If you live in Idaho’s 1st District, your congressman voted to spend your tax dollars on abortion.

No wonder Planned Parenthood gave $5,000 to Walt Minnick in 2008 and the National Abortion Rights Action League gave Minnick another $5,000. Their investment has paid off. But if you live in 1st District, do you feel that Minnick’s extremist vote paid off for you?
