However, on the national stage, I wouldn't care for a politician or presidential candidate to BE a drinking buddy. Because a drinking buddy can't be trusted to run anything right, as proved by the GW administration. If it was a matter of "trust" would you trust a presidential candidate to wash your car. Would you even ask say Clinton, McCain or Obama to wash your car? If it came to facing down armed criminals and you and your (pick one) presidential candidate each had a shot gun, I am not certain I would trust POW McCain to deal with that particular crisis. I am not about to charge "racism" to your particular column, but I have no problem suggesting that your particular column is a bit ridiculous. Yesterday, Rick Sanchez showed us signs of pure bigotry toward President elect Obama by various Christian churches. They even used scripture to justify their hatred. So, a little challenge for you, how would you like to task such people who went beyond the pale in their fury that the voters would select a black man with a funny name for their president?
