MySpace as a Campaign Strategy

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

43rd State Blues has news of new strategy by Democrats, use MySpace.com. Both Jim Hansen and a volunteer for Jerry Brady have set up MySpace Accounts.

Wow! That’s profound. Jerry has 61 friends and Jim Hansen has 34. What lamers! Even DJ Don has 85 friends! Sheesh. Bradley Hathaway who just does Poetry readings has 32,185 friends. Why don’t we elect him Governor? Why don’t we elect him President? We could do worse, he’s a good guy.

But this idea of My Space for politics is stupid. Jessica posts this observation on MySpace:

There are also official and unofficial myspaces for many other candidates all across the country. In my opinion, it seems as though Dem candidates are using myspace much more than Repub candidates.

Well, that might be because Republicans are more likely to have lives. less likely to use MySpace in the first place. Due to the sexual predators, it has a very nasty reputation.

Now, let me put on my flamesuit.
