He must really want to lose. Did you hear about the fundraiser he is having over in London? (McCain, the king of incumbant-protection…er…campaign finance reform.)
Does the fact that Germany would not build the submarines for us when we needed them ring any bells, you idiot, McCain?
Of course McCain is in trouble with the FEC. After all, he’s the one who wrote the law he wants to break!
Thank you, Pope! No one here seems to care enough. Well, besides the alumni, the Christians (whom, I might add, are NOT demonstrating in the streets and whopping off heads…), and the students, etc.
Good on South Dakota and the school that is boycotting a parade that took money from embryonic stem cell research. You go, Mr. Father! NPR…duh.
Exellent post!

UN calls for the genocide of Israel…
Did the UN really call for the genocide of all Jews, especially those living in Israel? Not actually, but they may as well have. I have signed the petition, which will be available also for you to sign, stating that I support Israel in this issue ……..

Wow, a response to nearly everything. Thanks, Rosemary. Yeah, based on the way he’s running I really question whether McCain wants to win or whether he forgot Bob Dole’s playbook isn’t the best one to base a campaign on.

Please, tell us more — based on your vast military experience — on why U.S. military weapons must be made in the U.S. If the Israelis have a better IED avoidance system (for one example) I want the U.S. military to buy it. And what’s this from the commenter about Germany building us submarines? Those were for Taiwan; the U.S. does not need, or even want, diesel submarines.
In your defense, you clearly must not be talking about the recent award of the tanker contract, since those planes will, in fact, be made in the U.S.

It matters that the US have the capacity to make it own weapons in the US for the simple reason that if we don’t make our own weaponry, we’re dependent on others as we’re dependent for oil. Why I’ve never served in the military, Duncan Hunter has and he chaired the Armed Services Committee. And he made this point quite clearly. When we get to the point where foreign companies control the manufacture of all our weapons, and America no longer can even manufature its own weaponry, we’re getting to a dangerous point.

Holy cow, you people live in a fantasy world! Where do you find this inane crap? Ever heard the saying, “you’re entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts?”
Buy a clue.
