Oh My Gosh, He Played the Rumsfeld Card

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

In response to the Statesman endosing his opponent, Republican Kevin McGowan, in District 19, Democratic Candidate Brian Cronin writes:

When asked why American soldiers were sent to Iraq without proper equipment, Donald Rumsfeld replied: “You go to war with the Army you have. They’re not the Army you might want or wish to have.” Writer Thomas Friedman suggests Americans have become similarly (and dangerously) complacent about our government: “We’ve decided that we’ll march into the future with the government we’ve got, not the one we want to have or wish to have or need to have.”

Oh my gosh. Cronin’s getting worried. He played the Rumsfeld Card in the only district in Idaho outside of Sun Valley that it would actually work in. That would put at level one desperation. McGowan would know he was on the verge of defeat, if he’d played the Cheney Card instead. Right now, though, it does look like Cronin is heading to the legislature to join the Idaho Far Left Liberation Caucus. Also know as the Banging your head against the wall caucus.
