On Lies

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

Binky Boy at 43rd State Blues is quite fond of accusing others of lies whenever any mistake is made. While people have tried to explain that a lie requires an intent to deceive. Now, we get this statement from Binks:

Maybe for all of this Clayton will threaten me with his guns some more.

This gets a “Huh?” reaction from Clayton Cramer:

I’ve never threatened anyone with a gun, much less BinkyBoy. Such a threat is a criminal offense. BinkyBoy needs to either confess that this is entirely in his head, or file a criminal complaint. Then we can see him go to jail for filing a false report.

Then, there’s this statement on a previous post (vulgar immature language advisory) addressed to Clayton: “And don’t threaten me with guns. ” This inexplicably links to a post relating to incivility in the Idaho liberal blogosphere. Now, if Binky Boy has some inexplicable meaning we’re all just missing, he’d better enlighten us.  Because quite frankly it looks like he’s lying or out of his mind. Update: Binky Boy’s clarification is even more bizarre:

Evidently I need to clarify how Clayton has been threatening others with guns. You see, by constantly talking about how you have guns, by constantly mentioning how “heroic” someone else is that shot someone, by always making it a liberal vs. conservative issue you are basically making threats.

So, by being a gun enthusiast, Clayton is threatening people with guns?  That’s nuts. And I should note that Clayton has never praised shooting a liberal. Nor am I aware of any political crime like that recently. This is just plain nuts and in Idaho, it shows a great deal of lack of tolerance for the gun-owning population of Idaho.

What’s so bizarre about this is that I have never emailed BinkyBoy. Ever. I’ve never talked to him on the phone. I don’t even know who he is. (Anonymous blogging–how courageous is that?) I would think that if I had made any threat to BinkyBoy, even of an indirect nature, it would have to be on my blog, and that he would link to such a threat.

BinkyBoy obviously has some very serious emotional problems. But then again, as I have repeatedly pointed out, certain persuasions have a lot of serious emotional problems.

Hrm. Not sure what you mean by “certain persuasions have a lot of serious emotional problems.” Even so, it would be disingenuous at best to assume BinkyBoy is a good representative sample of an Idaho Democrat. BB himself probably wouldn’t disagree with that.
